I wrote this piece of article as an assignment, and hopefully it can be used as a means of spurring me, as well as the rest of you guys, on for the o levels, promos, whatever you are going through...

Look around us and we can see what is meant by the word “Balance” Balance refers to achieving equilibrium in whatever is done, and believe it or not, our world and surroundings actually shows just that. Night and day, masculinity and femininity, sun and rain, all these are examples of striking a balance,

To further substantiate this point, let me bring across the analogy of cooking steak on a fire. If the fire is too low, not enough heat will be liberated and the steak will be raw. However if the fire is too huge, lots of heat will be liberated and it might result in the steak being burnt. Thus, a moderate fire is needed so just the right amount of heat will be liberated to cook the steak well. Take this analogy and use it for pressure,

The same goes for pressure. Pressure is defined as a push or force that is designed both to challenge and spur us on to achieve for the better. Of course, it is undeniable that too much pressure is not something we would like to experience as it stresses us up and even might have a negative impact upon us if it gets out of hand ( eg. Suicide attempt ) However, just as ironic as it seems, a moderate amount of pressure is good as it exerts just enough stress on us for us to take pride in our work and produce quality work. Too little pressure on the other hand will not be good as we would not have a sense of urgency in completing a job and we might just end up doing a bad job at it.

There is a quote that goes “The harder your fall, the greater you bounce back” Lets all live by this quote and use it as an example to take pressure well and use it to our advantage so we will be able to benefit from it well. Take it in our stride and ‘bounce back high’
