Orientation Day 2!

(Typed this out yesterday, 4 jan 2007 but for some reason it couldnt appear, so here it is) =)

ookay, day two of orientation went great! the first half was still a little wierd for me, knowing that I havent quite made it to the sociable level yet.. The day started with talks, and then we played mass games... Mass games was fun, and we played games that made us interact with one another.. Personally I enjoyed this part, with the scissors paper stone game as well as the group up game and the touch game... Just one thing, due to my inability to socialize at that point of time, it wasnt that fun for me...

After break we had our very first squad meeting, and our OGLs asked us to take tissue paper cause we supposedly had to clean up the toilets... She told us to grab as much as possible.. At first I took quite alot, my intention was to help, and SUDDENLY SUDDENLY SUDDENLY i asked my self, what if this is a scam??

It brought me back to the time I was an OGL for my secondary school and we played this game, and every tissue you take meant how many things you had to say about urself... Experience is something valuable after all...

It proved right, as my OGL announced the dirt has been cleared by another squad and we had to hold on to the tissues... clever eh??luckily i learnt from my previous mistake and only took 5 pieces heh... we also played a name game where we had to socialize and getta know each other...

Yes it was THAT point of time i got more attached to my squad... Finally i was beginning to socialize... We then had college tour, and our OGLs made it very very fun for us, joking around but still doing their job professionally... Like when we came across groups and they say "Hi nathan! (our clan name) our OGL made us reply "Low nathan" Get it? High, low... haha... and then she NEVER allowed us to reply when others said "Yo nathan, or hello nathan" instead playfully forcing the other group to greet us by the "Hi Nathan" greeting cause thats e only form of communication we knew according to her... Yep yep, it was fun...

Next up, it was mass dance for us... LETS GET LOUD was the song for our mass dance.. the dance steps were confusing, and I ended up blundering quite a bit, but i certainly hope my girl partner (pardon me for not knowing ur name, I do know that u're from Unity however heh) was a patient one... But really i blundered quite a lot.. lets hope i master them by sometime soon... =)

Following that, it was the performances by our clan agents, also called OGLs, and it was really wonderful! we were treated to 6 different performances together, and all was very entertaining... Then to end the day, we learnt cheers and songs... Which brings me to my next point, i think the pioneer college anthem is quite nice... haha like very sad-inspirational like that...

Ahh, cant wait for tomorrow! it'll be games and CCA openhouse! unfortunately i cant go for the CCA openhse but nvm, i still getta play the games! lets get wet n dirty!! i really really hope i'll be able to finally talk and socialize more with my groupmates tomorrow... I need to get HIGH tomorrow, and I'll try my best to be at my upmost highest and best tomorrow... =)

Just wanna leave u with TWO jokes... haha u know our orientation theme is about spies and 007 and all that... so the orientation master told us about casino royale and how they play poker...

those were just two jokes I remembered from today.. i'll update more about our really enthu,great OGLs and all other jokes and funny stuff they told us too kay? byeeee for noww!!=)
