Well basically u have your usual stuff during day 4 .. but the fun thing is we learnt the FUN DANCE! Gosh it really did live up to its name cause it was such a fun dance i had lotza fun doing it! heh this is one dance u dun need to have good dancing skills.. basically its all ur basic moves and LOTS of jumping.. And guess the song we danced to.. its the time to disco!!! Yeah though it was a song from a bollywood movie and we didnt really understand the words, bur nobody really cared much about it cause all we know was the song was really catchy and upbeat! haha... I'm sure those who danced had such a great time we actually asked for an encore during the last dayyy!!
And for the last day, things started off a lil shaky... We had mass games and well, for the first two stations, we kinda got scolded cause we din cooperate as a whole group... but nvm, bad stuff aside, we eventually managed to pull through together as a team and we were told we were the most improved team... haha.. so apart from that, the other exciting event that happened on the last day was the FINALE!!!
The finale was, in one word, SUPERB! Yeaa that was the time i really felt the pioneer spirit emerge from within every single one of us in the hall... Like before this, we did have enthusiasm, but it never ever reached the level i experienced on the last day... simply memorable! And oh, one more thing, it DEFINITELY was much much better than a campfire to me! The 6 different clans had their own performance and all did a great job performing! Yea it was really entertaining... haha, well i did something miraculous, after 3 days of keeping quiet, i suddenly felt the urge to volunteer to perform as I wanted to fulfill my OGL's wishes, and yea i did perform! haha thanks alot to my OGLs who spurred me on and challenged me to do something i wouldnt regret on the last day... and needless to say, i didnt regret making the decision to perform! if i didnt perform that day, ohh, i would have regretted not doing so, so thank you guys! apart from that, we had our cheers and all, and all of the clans eventually ended up a winner in one category, mine won the most enthusiastic clan alot! WHEE! Three cheers for nathan!
haha so anyway, after the end of the whole thing, we gave our OGLs and councillor a lil token of appreciation to show our appreciation to em for everything they have done for us throughout the five days they have been with us.. Kok Kun, he got a card from us and a cute cute teddy bear... Ang siang, he got a card too as well as a MICKEY MOUSE soft toy since some say he look like mickey mouse.. haha, and finally Siew Huai, she got a tortoise, cause she is said to look like a tortoise! haha wierd eh? here's a pic of two of them happily with their soft toys..
