Next up, its my top 10 female artistes of 2006....

Number 10: Gwen Stefani

With popular hits, gwen stefani is definitely one great singer!! Also, it is said that the Hollaback Crew was inspired by her song "Hollaback Girl" and hollaback crew was held in 2006 by 987FM! That should be a good reason to place her in my top 10..

Number 9: Scarlet Johanson

A great movie actress, having acted in many movies that made it to the box offices... One of them is the black dahlia... She has also been named the world's most attractive woman by one of the US major magazines, i think its forbes... so she must be in the top 10!

Number 8: Dakota Fanning

A very young talented actress!! I remembered watching this horror movie starring her and I was amazed at how well she could act... Now she's back, with her most recent production as the main character charlotte in Charlotte's web...
She'll make it big when she grows up if she stays in this scene!

Number 7: Tata Young

She produced a number of tracks that received recognition worldwide, amongst them are Zoom and El-nin-yo ... She recently cam to singpore to perform for her fans...

Number 6: Felicia Chin

She won the top 10 most popular actresses award in the recent star awards and many critics say she's the next breakout female star after Zoe tay... not surprising, looking at how well she acts... I love that 9 pm chinese drama serial on now, and she acts really well in it... lets see if the critics are right =)

Number 5: Fergie

She's in the Black Eyed Peas, and they did well this year with hits like Don't lie and My Humps... She is also a solo artiste and she does well too, with two of her hits making it big, London Bridge and Fergalicious... Isnt she talented??

Number 4: Christina Aguilera

She's made a comeback after going missing last year, and I must say she has matured! I didnt quite enjoy her songs, but her piece "Hurt" was simply so touching I was amazed by it!! I hope she produces more of such hits! =)

Number 3: Nelly Furtado

Also making a comeback is nelly furtado! With many hits that show how good a singer she is like "All good things come to an end" she gets my vote! That song rocks!! Some of her other songs are "Maneater" and promiscuous..

Number 2: Beyonce

She sings well, and that is a well known fact, being in the ever popular destiny's child and doing great as a solo singer with hits like "Irreplacable" She also can ACT!! yeaa her next movie is coming up soon so yea, look out for her!

Number 1 for me is RIHANNA!!! She's sooo talented only being 18 and able to sing, dance, and also act!! Same case as beyonce... heh, she can grow up to be the next beyonce!!!
