Which ended so fast
PROM NITE ( Thursday 30 November 2006)
Well, this was the night I was looking forward to for a long time. In fact, I couldnt wait to experience prom, mainly due to the fact it was such a blast when I attended it last year. I could still remember the atmosphere of prom last year when i attended it, it was a night of fun and glamour .. The students came dressed well, I think everybody did so well and i really wanted to know what my badge of students would be coming in. Of course, that would be a good change from the normal school uniform.
As i woke up on the morning of the day of prom, Prom nite was the first thing that came into my head. I was clearly excited, and after bathing and all, I immediately set out to do all thats needed to prepare for prom. After having my lunch, it was abt 2.30, I started to do all thats needed to be done. I've never rushed for time but the wierd thing is, despite me having more than two hours to do all that needs to be done, i felt time was short. So there i was polishing my black shoe with kiwi (a black substance for polishing black shoes) , ironing my suit and collar shirt, followed by bathing one more time... haha...
By that time its already 4, so i waited until after doing my prayers, and i got ready in 15 minutes, wearing my suit and doing my hair.. It was hilarious when some people gotta know, especially the girls who obviously needed about an hour to get ready for prom (Is 1 hour enough??) do their hair, put on their suits, make up, earrings and others...
To cut the story short, met maghfurah at 5.15 and finally proceeded to Raffles Town Club, where we got stuck in this long traffic jam for abt 45 mins or so... haha, as a result, we came late to our DM who wanted to see the video... Luckily in the end all that was settled =) back to prom btw
I planned to sit with 9 others at a table, but sad, we had to separate as there was no place... Its okay, i did getta sit with 3 of my friends on one of the tables, phew was i lucky haha... We then watched a video presentation done by me plus my song administrator Maghfurah, who did the sound.. I'm not goinna blow my own trumpet by commenting on my own video, but i must say, when people told me they liked it and that it was touching, two whole painstaking weeks of video editing suddenly meant nothing and i felt that satisfying feeling, so glad u guys enjoyed it =)
Next up we played more games as usual, but what is more interesting, was the nomination of prom king and queen... haha i know it was hard for those who were choosing the nominees, since there were soo many people looking great. Yea u can tell they made the effort to dress up for this event..
None of the prom king nominees were from my class, just to name a few from the back of my head, Jimson, Guo Xiang, Zaki, Shawn Lee, Gavin, a 4P3 guy i dunno his name, a 4P4 guy also i dunno his name, Zulfadli, Faiz, and one more other guy i dunno his name also... hahaha that makes 10 =) My pick was for either zaki or shawn lee to win, but nahh, they didnt win... haha, zaki did get to the final three though, together with guo xiang and jimson ...

And the winner of the prom king award was...
JIMSON! yeaa haha forgot what he wore, but he was a deserving winner based on his acting love scene, it was so lovely!
to quote "All the 99 roses i bought you have withered at home, but my love for you has not withered"
He was really spontaneous and from what i remembered, his outfit was also nice, so yea he deserved to win ah... Zaki had to dance and Guo Xiang had to act out a love scene...
Next up, the prom queen nominees! To recall from teh back of my head, Joan, Ummairah, Sheryl, Li Ting, Kelly, Fajrina, Syarafina, Jannah, and two other girls, one i forgot who, and one i remember but i dunno her name.. haha, the girls dressed really well, I couldnt choose for the girls, mainly cause i know 6 of em, but if i hadda choose, i would choose either Joan, Ummairah, fajrina or Syarafina to win... Had one more with syarafina but hmm, havent received yet.. will post the rest later on...
So anyway, the three final nominees were ummairah, joan and kelly! They hadda go through this question answer segment and it was hilarious how the crowd kept saying world peace at every question... it was very miss universe like... ummairah got a question on her definition of elegance, joan had three wishes to state and kelly had a chance to change sth in the past abt her... This was followed by a stage act... ummairah and kelly had to act out a love scene and kelly had to dance... anyway all in all the winner is... JOAN! a deserving winner indeed =)

Lucky draw prizes were also given out and i wasnt that lucky, but congratz to those who won...

To Hafizul, yea u did look great lah, so how did i look? hahaaa.. =P
