What you can learn from being in the MRT

helloo guys! Just came back home, so i decided to blog.. haha didnt manage to catch the Presidents Star Charity, but anyway, hope there is a re-run so i can catch it, more importantly, catch my favourite singapore idol finalists! Yippie! haha...

Today my blog entry will be kinda wierd, as i am goinna talk abt what I saw on my way to and fro from orchard road... Haha i had my appointment there, and its kinda amazing what you can see from being in an MRT for a total of 32 mins to orchard road and another 32 minutes back...

One thing that struck me, one really obvious thing, is that sibling rivalry still occurs... I have never actually seen such things happen before but today i saw it.. First in the bus where there was this small boy trying to get his fathers attention, i guess thats normal since he is really small after all. But hmm, in the MRT, i saw these two boys, one is kinda small, my take would be around 5 years old... He was trying to be with his mum all the while, impressing her by speaking Chinese and promoting Chinese by saying "I'm speaking chinese mum" Its really very cute, and all those in the MRT like me smiled to see such a cute sight.. haha but however, he had a brother, i dunno how old, but he must be the likes of around 11 year old, but he was really acting like a kid lah... Disturbed his brother, pushed his brother to the side just to sleep next to his mum, fly his paper aeroplane and make a lot of noise, and also kneeling down in the MRT when his mum entertained his brother... Apparently he was jealous.. haha! So i guess it is common after all... all this while I thought such things only happen at home, but nope, i was wrong! =P

One more thing that caught me, the young are actually VERY stylish nowadays, and in fact, i think they are more ahead of the teenagers in terms of fashion and style juding by what i saw in the MRT... Sitting in front of me was these two sisters, one a secondary school student and another one around 8 years old.. Both were wearing baju kurung, but the smaller one simply looked prettier with her accessories and hairstyle, unlike the sis which was normal... coincidentrally next to them there were male counterparts too.. A teenager and his brother... The teenager looked normal, with a bossini shirt and jeans, but his brother, around 10 years old, gosh was he cool! I was really amazed, cause i cannot do such a fashion myself.. His brother was wearing jeans, with a really messy but cool hairstyle, just like Fauzi Laily's kinda hairstyle... he was wearing a shirt, with a really cool jacket.. haha he looked like a superstar man!

See what you can observe and learn just by being in the MRT??? Haha... I am now really amazed by all these people, and i am sad to say, i cannot compare to them lah, especially in terms of fashion and style... I guess, its time for me to buck up in these two areas eh... hahaha tips anyone for me?? I need the FASHION POLICE!!!
