The disappointment of a non-football guy

hey guys! AHH! I'm really quite disappointed that Germany didnt make it to the finals.. with england and brazil gone, I thought it would be a piece of cake for them to get it through.. Apparently not, as they played a very long 0-0 match against Italy, which ended up in extra time, and Italy scored 2 goals in the final two minutes! Now thats what i call bad luck.. I was expecting a penalty shootout or what, u know, at least if germany lost in penalty shootout, then it would convince me that Italy was deserving.. But no, it was PURE luck that italy scored two goals.. hmph! Lemme see if i got this right, it was Del Piero that scored one of the goals? haha.. I planned to wake up really early to watch that match but phew, luckily i didnt cause that match was obviously not worth sacrificing my sleep for.. haha! oh well, seriously, I was hoping Germany won, u know, at least give them some face that its their home ground.. haha.. nvm, now with germany gone, i'm right behind France! Hope France doesnt lose to portugal, or it would be two disappointing results in a row for me.. Haha, lets look at it this way, for a non-enthu football guy to be actually saying this and typing this post, its kinda amazing is it? so yeah, at least do me a favour and please let france win, make me happy since i am suddenly so enthu! =) Seriously, you wouldnt believe what i did today.. i actually woke up quite early to watch it but i was too sleepy, so i slept a while, bathed and actually switched on the radio to listen to the scores.. haha i guess the saying is true after all, the world cup bug is contagious, even for a non-football fan! =)
